old or new car?

hi…should i get a new car or an old car? i’m sharing money with dad…he wants me to have a stake in the car so that i’ll not anyhow drive…haha…old car those advertised in newspapers which are more than 10 years worth it or not? like nissan persua or honda esi…or those old cars every month payment about 300 plus…worth it? no warantty right?? will they spoil often?? or can i get someone to check it thoroughly before i buy it? how much will such expertise in checking the car cost me?? book him for one whole day to go around car shops to see cars??? wad type of old cars don’t eat oil that much?? petrol very eat alot one?? which type of cars??? if new cars…worth it or not?? $70k to $80k budget worth it ? how much will i lose if i buy a new car? thanxs everybody!!

If u r thinking of getting an old car it is best that u take those that has just 3-2 yrs remaining..... Wink the cost of repairs varies depending on the condition of the car..... nissan pressa FC is rather high if u compare it wif a honda ESI....
For new cars.... mhhhh I will only see more advantages of owning one.... only if u have a tight budget constraint then only u consider getting a old car.... Wink

For me 3 to 5 years is ok la. Buy a small cc car save fuel and maintance.

If you buy a 10 years old car you are taking a big risk of your money. you also need to check whether it is overhall liao anot or it will not last long Wink
