GPS navigation unit

Hi guys,

I just bought a new GPS navigation unit at the PC Show yesterday. Normally, most people will mount the unit on a bracket at the windscreen.

Just to check, if I leave the unit there permanently, will it get damaged by the sun rays and heat?

there will be a circle shape

and u might have a circle shape hole in the windscreen cos someone stole it
