Made some noise with the distributor, and the General Manager
met up with me. He said that after 10,000km, they will change to
synthetic oil, and FC should improve. He also said maybe can tune
the engine to run more lean i.e. more air, less fuel to further
improve the FC. He also offered to replace my tyres back to 14" (I
am having 15" sports rim which according to him, drinks more
fuel).
Since I am not the only one with this high FC, it is probably a
manufacturer design issue, and/or they have misrepresented their FC
performance specs in their brochures (which claims that the car is
capable of 14.something for highway driving, 8.something for city,
and average is 11.something).
See if we can do anything about it.
