Question on tyre pressure

how do i know the suitable pressure for the tyres of a vehicle? does it go by tyre type? or loading of vehicle?

I drive a van (toyota liteace), the specs from the website is
Tyres Front/Rear 165R13LT6P.R./165R13LT8P.R.

Can any useful information be derived from this?

U can allocate the tyre pressure from the side of the door… most cases it is on the drivers side….. most likely it is given at a range of 20 something to 30 something….. then u convert it when u go to the petrol station….. it depend more on the weight but pumping ard 180 – 195 shld be no problem for a van…. it will let you turn the wheels better…. :>
