the thing about dialects are the different nuances, timing,
accenting, inflection and all that.. which makes one who has not
spoken it all their lives sound very strange, more than strange
actually, trying to speak it...
what more trying to type it out 
i've found that unless one grows up speaking teochew, one ends up
sounding really strange no matter how they try to pick it up..
