Try chewing on something else if you cannot exercise the grey matters by chewing constantly on the wrong stuff.

Do you need any tool to change this kind of light bulb ?

It does not need too much talent to know that the dim light in Singaporeans is due to Singaporeans being forced to chew too hard to survive, while the voltage needed is purposefully turned low to prevent any heat being raised.

Obviously, the simple picture cannot help light up your bulb, nothing short of a jolt will do and which may just stop your heart.

In any case, it may not be worth attempting to do any more for your case.

well, the word FT is very vague, so what you expect, how do you define FT in singapore? Anyone with a E pass? or anyone who get PR status? a beijing U degree or harvard or Chennai University?? Or you base on paid structure, anything above 5k is a FT??

If all labor is equal amongst individuals, is there a need to have the different work permits for those whose 'skills and knowledge' command higher wages compared to those who can only be fit for less ?

Perhaps in the experience of the fallen angel, whose exposure is with the foreign Bar Girls at her father's Bar and is only familiar with the 'talent' of these under paid Girls, who depend on their 'talents' to earn "extras" from their customers - in her mind, there is no difference between Mr Goodyear at TH, and Miss Goodtime at her Bar.

In her mind, there is little difference between a $10.50 Kleenex Toilet Roll and a $3.50 Blossom Toilet Roll (both in a 10 roll packing) - afterall in her desperation with her daily incontinence during her waking hours, a roll is a roll that will settle her problems.

i am not saying that the division of labour is equal, it cannot be, but what define a FT in singapore? that is what i asked, an engineers, a scientist, a financial specialist, a CEO with no education, etc etc..

Being in the business of managing a Bar, surely you are involved in the application of Work Permit for your "foreign female talents" ?

Or are they working without work permits ?

Surely, you will be the first one to know better than anyone in this Speaker's Corner - about the conditions that the Labor Department will issue Work Permit - and the difference in Work Permits issued for the girls in your trade, compared to that of domestic help, and that given to a Bangladesh worker for the menial labor required for construction and shipyard activities, or that given to the Super Tertiary Educated needed by the Bio-Science Industry or the Banking-Financial Sector ?

Can the uneducated CEO get a workpermit ?

Yes, if a Company - such as NTUC Comfort, or General Electric or SHELL - is prepared to sponsor such a person, or if none is available - the person will have to invest at least $250,000 to be able to get a permit to reside here.

The word "FT" was originally coined by Government to justify bringing in certain trade of individual to head Singapore State owned financial enterprised. So as it filiter downward some headhunter agency decided to apply it to Ah Kow and Ah Tom......

The biggerest mistake from Pap is the presumtion that once you acquired the "X" you can managed and control.....There is no such thing as to have it all and Eat it all.
