This is brilliant... and Andrew the economist defines a recession
as "a country is in a recession if you can find at least once
reference to a news headline saying so".
*clap clap clap... brilliant...
"The island's economy shrank 6.8% in the third quarter, according
to government data, worse than the first estimate of 6.3% the
government made last month.Recession is generally
defined as being two consecutive quarters of negative
growth." - (BBC News)

Now.. will you or will you not show us the GDP result for 31st
December 2008?
I was thinking to myself how anyone can be so retarted as to keep
on insisting that he is right without checking the facts when it
was pointed out to him. It dawned on me that it not that you can't
count nor that you did not read the article.. but it because you
simply could not understand what a recession meant even when it was
spelled out right infront of you. It would be an insult to a door
knob's intelligence to call you one.
Sad...
2nd quarter contracted by 6%. 3rd quarter 6.8% (based on the BBC
report above)

I think you are refering to this.. Compared with the same
period last year, the economy shrank 0.6%.
That's not Q2.
...and what did dickhead, the dick head say? ....
