Who said anything about education? Since the first bomb to go off
may be a nuke(clean or dirty), I would say education at most would
have a 50/50 chance of suceeding due to a bomb scare.
I am talking about doing some surgical operation to some people
who are more prone to aiding and carrying terrorist missions.
i still think that the goal should be preventing a person from
picking up the next fallen rifles or become a walking bomb.
It only take 1 person to create a whoha in SG. General
education may not be 100% full proof but again i think
there are different level of educations. Our local islamic
council can always change the emphasis on their jihad
teaching to a more social consious teaching. It
takes 2 hands to clap.
Some of the foreign fighters in Afghan are just carrying out the
religions right of passage they return back
to family and lead a normal life after a year stink
in afghan. they can still do that but change side by helping the
afghan to buit their social life rather than carrying a gun. I
think carrying out hard work is still a jihad.
