what i see is not so optimistic, the globalisation, make powerful country levy unfair trade and exploitation on small country,

the south america have been struggling for paying debt of developed country, actually because the exchange rate is floating, so they have payed many fold than original debt, ironically, after pay for so many year, their debts didn't decrease but increase.

and developed country set up factory in poor country, like vietnam, which factor is highly polluting,

US could wage war to iraq and afganistan, with no justified reason, but DPRD even they launch a salitelle could be criticize for violating some resolution. is it fair,

the US's approach is slowly by economic aid, trade to change their target country's ideology, like they said, they try to liberate the people from some country .

So by globalisation, the voice from small country is not heard.

like most people watch hollywood movie, then the small buget movie from many country is ignored. How does they the developed country earn money, each dollar they earned ,is from the each dollar vanished in some developing country.

the developed country's economy have almost saturated, so they have to find new incentive, of that, they have their eyes in asia, that's why asia is been called the power house of the world's economy. Before any top 500 company go to a country, he first identify it's competitive company ,then destroy it, by it's large capital.

greed to me is a bad word, so i cannot think of any good meaning of it, why there is war, because greed of emperor, why rich exploit poor, it's the greed on wealth, in my opinion, you can derive anything right in a false proposition

And it think we should treat ourselve well, with full heart, each is make us happy, healthy, then we talk about compassion, it's hardly can imagine, someone could not serve himself well, then help others.

again, is what being shaped by PAP policy, if he don't allow many FT come in the first place, then it won't be any problem, i can understand that Boss trying to employ the cheaper worker, when their performance is same, so it require local to be more competitive,

If they are from richer country, then they won't choose singapore for where to work, ya?
If government raise the tax of cigar. then you have to pay money for 2 pack to get one pack, if the government open the door for FT, then locals have to face competition from outside.

Why not? Fire can be used in a good way and a bad way. this applies to other stuffs in our every day lifes. For example, u complete a course in engineering. Another engineer in the society is another "future builder". but being an engineer, u are able to do bad things like hot-wiring a car, is that a benefit to the society?

i mean people born in differernt enviorment, so tolerance of hard work is different, and if those vietnamese could come to work in singapore. Then they are not so bad, i am not sure how is the situation in vietnam, i heard it's poor.So people come here to work, for less salary, and live in cheap HDB, maybe 1600 is good for vietnam but, 1800 may not be good for local.local have to live here ,spend money here, they have no where to go, they cannot expect go to vietnam, then,3000 dollar, means alot of money, those who come to singapore are talent in vietnam, i don't believet that, local is more smart , more talented, people of different country, are same, if vietnamese work hard, then you can work harder, but we won't do that, because we expect use minimum effort, get maximum pay, if work hard means that OT, no weekend, the life is too intolerable for me,

I learn for the sake of learning, for the fun, for the interest of it. My job, my tuition, I'm doing it out of passion, out of fun. I can be tired at the end of the day, but during the course of doing it, I forget my tiredness mostly. It's fun :)

i think it's hard to define greed is good or bad, it work differently for different person, but if i say you are greedy, i think you will not take it as a compliment, i say many people , when they are richer, become less happier,

when they are poor, they work hard for better tomorrow, with maybe his GF, or spouse, but when he become rich, he forget the commitment made by him to his GF, there are hot chicks attracked by his money, and he is seduced, and his wife discover it, typical divorce case,

i think people don't realise, some rich are not happy, like jone D. rockefeller, when he is 30 plus, he looks like 50 years old. That's why he finally make alot of charity works.

Greed destroy his health and mentality completely.

So my principle is don't think too much, do it, it think working should be joyful in the first place for ordinary people. We don't own a company, however they do not need to undertake the risk of running a company. Working hard attitude is not pushed by other, but generated by the passion in your self.

i used a buddhism teaching to explain it, greed mean desire, being attached to what you want, i think nice working mentality mean, driving by passion not desire
