I got another explanation for it, look at the animal kingdom, when lions hunt, they move slowly and stealthily to their intended target and not swiftly.

If that is so, then cheetahs should just dash at their target instead of moving stealthily to some bushes then spring a surprise attack.

There is a difference between the example you gave and the sneaking stealthily across the causeway.

2) How did he go across the straits of johor with his "improved flotation device" under the noses of our coast guards? Furthermore, at his time of escape, border controls have been tightened.

3) Apr 15, WKS famously said that, "Once he is out Singapore, he could go anywhere." But Mas Selamat was already caught on Apr 1. If cooperation between the countries is really as cordial as stated in ST, why didn't Msia's ISD inform our ISD right away?

the coast guard is not all seeing. Unless singapore expands the coast guards number by 100 time, or else cannot guard the whole coast 100% of the time. Or MSK is really pro. why msia never inform singapore ISD? I think they did, and they decide to keep quiet for tactical reasons. this is my wild guess. haha, how to show you he got limp?

it could just be that ISD did not inform WKS due to reasons.

ISD is based in singapore but remember, that it is an intelligence agency. think CIA.

who knows when he swam to johor. could be on the day he escaped, could be on new years eve could also be the day before he got caught.
