Yah.. you wait till one day.. a young PRC comes into the office and take your job away.. for a fraction of your price.

Your children will no longer eat Mcdonalds.. instead they eat bread.

Your wife will have to work double shifts.. while you rot at home.

Then you can console yourself that its "Efficiency Effective and Economic" at work.

These PRC when they take the flight to Singapore.. they go for broke.

And the worst thing is they cant even speak basic english when they take our job and not seeing singapore as their "first" country

Well.. the only option you have to prevent that from happening .. is to become a government servant.

Right now.. I don't think PRC is allowed to work in those departments.. but I don't know if a converted Singaporean may just be given that same job you seek.

So far.. the requirements are not "only Singapore born" applicants may apply.

Yes, i am for england. my relative used to say she prefer sg to be ruled by british. she had gone thru those british colonial days. she compared that with the present sg and said the british took better care of singaporeans. No need pay hospital bill.

They say english in singapore is for busniess and just for the sake to cominucate other races but to me english is already part of our culture and thats how we have many different races friends, and i dont use english just for the sake for work or sch i use it everywhere!

Pay high tax in return govt take care of the people and the old are being taken care of. This is fair deal.

in sg, we keep paying and paying but we are not taken care of. in sg, we pay pension for the PAP, but PAP wants us to pay our own "pension" by making buying annuity compulsory. GST will rise to 9% 10% subsequently. and our dear lhl say to raise GST to help the poor, but we know it is bullshit.

In singapore, it is the people who take care of the govt and not govt taking care of us.

the gahmen is going all out in its speak mandarin campaign to encourage singaporeans to cater to the PRCs. the latest ads show non-chinese speaking mandarin as well. so the message is crystal clear. haiz.

saw the ad on TV, it is disgusting. So to say the PAP wanna other race like caucasian and the rest to learn Mandarin and expect together with all of us to communicate with PRCs in mandarin.
