Hi Jojo u must be a wise old oops! young owl enjoying the
stillness & tranquillity of the night (3 am) while the rest of
the world is in slumberland ha ha! - your jambans must be expensive
stuff eh? - got gold taps or not?.
Coming back to the subject, China will not be a threat to anyone
simply because there is no rational reason to be so. China is
so huge & with a population in the billions, what is foremost
in the minds of the Chinese is to take care of themselves first in
terms of social cohesion, economic development, peace, prosperity
& happiness for the people.
Of course the Chinese have to develop their military power not
with the objective of attacking others but rather for defensive
purposes taking into consideration that historically a weak China
has been conquered, bullied & cowed in the past.
Oh.. unker Ong.. you forget already ah ... I am in cowboy
country.. it may be 3 am there .. but sun is shining where my
jambans are.. business has been a little bit slow.. and what with
the green movements going on... my tissue papers are not selling
too well ya see ? No gold taps.. only Japanese imported automatic
toilet bowl.. wash.. massage and blow dry your ahem...very high
tech !!
Anyway ah... who will run to China's aid if she ever gets
attacked ah ? Does she stand alone.... or will there be knights in
shiny armor coming to her rescue ?
Be she stand alone.. it is only rational she ups her defense
capabilities....no?
