Oh i see you are too stupid to see that singapore RESIDENTS has employment rate above 95%.

And those foreigners workers(36% of current work force) will bring in more cash to the country than they bring out.

Ok folks.. we do recognise the value that cheaper foreign labour provide to us.

But too much of a good thing is not good.

The influx needs to stop.

Balance the supply so that everyone is in a win win situation.

Problem is the need of the locals are neglected while some people and PAP welcome the foreigners here. Unlike, Switzerland which is so into protecting the rice bowls of their people, our local govt is practising the opposite.

OK, over here the govt keep telling the people to upgrade themselves by taking course. After they have finished the course, they still can't find jobs and many of the jobs are given to foreigners. So some of them are asking why upgrade when jobs are given to foreigeners.

In USA.. for a worker visa, one must HAVE a job offer before the visa can be approved. And the company must prove that they have done their due care to give priority to their citizens before they are allowed to apply for work permit.

I really wonder what's going to happen to those jobless FWs.

As i said, dun keep whining here, go to e2i, learning hub or CDC, u will be surprise there are thousand of jobs there, the last time i went there to get singaporean workers, the Sands was employing 1,300 retrenched workers after interviewing 1,800 peoples, so dun give a shit and wonder if u dunno anything.

That is the sad part of foreign workers too, you think they like to come here, all because of earning a living mah, our current unemployement is at 3%, in such a hard time 3% is very good comparing to 8.5% in USA, and most of the 3% are those whining aunties and uncles or people who just want to sit in the coffee shop in geyland or bookies or ah long...UNDERSTAND. Me go sleep liao

best part of it is some time ago, the old lky said that there is no destitutes in Singapore. ha ha ha. I still see few sleeping at the void deck.
