GST increase is to help the poor. Recruiting cheap foreigners is to help Singaporeans get jobs.

1. Singapore is very easy for a foreigner to get into.

2. Singapore did well BEFORE the influx of foreign workers. Can we do without the excess foreign workers ? Ofcors we can.

Keep the good ones, forget the bad ones.

Just because they are cheap, does not means they are good.

3. There's no need to throw them out.. Best will be ...after 5 years, either they renounce their citizenship in their country of origin to become SG citizens.. or they go back.

Right now.. they ( FT/FW) get to enjoy the best of both worlds.

FT and FW didn't build Singapore they are just the supporting cast.

We the Singaporeans did because it's our homeland.

jo, I know what you are driving at, unfortunately the ruling party who let them here don't see the same. old lee will not give credit to singaporeans building the homeland, he always claims credit to himself and PAP.

Also we need to add 3% more to our GST so that we can help more poor.

Just an update - saw the old lee a couple of days back on TV, he is frail, not as healthy looking as ever, walks like a robot. think not long on earth liao. little sissy will cry no more for papa's help, may be now sissy is looking for replacement.

Hard to say, nothing to compare against. We don't know if someone else coulda done a better job than him.

No doubt he lead us through some difficult times, but a leader is nothing without the hard work and sacrifice of the people.

There is no need to keep the highest paid pm in the world when he is proven to be useless. Times are bad now and govt should put in effort to cut costs.

Well, the old lee and platoon using law to punish people, of course nobody dare. REally there is a need to change ruling party. Can see that this ruling party is doing no good to people, people are instilled with fear.
