I would out-source the position of the President.(can I do
that?) and only use their services when there are foreign
dignitaries visiting, during national holidays (to take photos with
visitors at the Istana) and when there are death
penalty appeals to be considered.
I would also make an irrevocable change (ha ha, cannot be
changed after I relinquish my PM position the next day), myself to
take a 50% pay cut and 30% for all other ministers, MPs, etc.
Why not? after all our president is only good for eating
abalone, sharks' fin, and residing in large residences that take up
too much opportunity costs (if we remove Istana, that piece of land
can be used for better things)
Yes, I think you can consider making an irrevocable change to
the constitution that a PM can only sit for 2 terms :p
