For the sake of some accuracy, your various points will be addressed in their respective parts :- Was the SDP ever strong under the leadership of Chiam See...

skythewood SG

why weird?

You are saying an oppressed group can be strong.

Nice twisting of my words. Why don't you cut and paste what i posted and tell us how you morph it into an "oppressed group can be strong." This could be interesting.

Ah Chia SG

Well, at least we can be sure that what ever opposition that managed hold itself together despite the disadvantage of being challengers instead of incumbent, it will be a strong opposition.

Your phrasing is not very clear.

Can you make it clearer?

Can you make it clearer?

no. it is clear enough.

Ah Chia SG

no. it is clear enough.

It's unclear, not clear.

So, SDP is strong opposition?

skythewood SG

no. it is clear enough.

It's unclear, not clear.

So, SDP is strong opposition?

still don't understand? too bad for you.

Ah Chia SG

So, SDP is strong opposition according to your logic?

Strong or weak?

What does not destroy me, makes me stronger.

Ah Chia SG

So, SDP strong or weak?

skythewood SG

i don't keep track of SDP.

skythewood SG

What does not destroy me, makes me stronger.

Friedrich Nietzsche

i heard that one from the 5th element, the movie with the pretty girl...

Ah Chia SG

If we follow your logic, SDP should be strong correct?

what ever opposition that managed hold itself together despite the disadvantage of being challengers instead of incumbent, it will be a strong opposition.

i don't know, is the SDP holding itself together? Did it win anything? Is it a strong opposition? How you want to define strong?

You answer your own question.

Ah Chia SG

How you want to define strong?

Your post did not make it clear.

That is why I say it is unclear.

Well, at least we can be sure that what ever opposition that managed hold itself together despite the disadvantage of being challengers instead of incumbent, it will be a strong opposition.

Most of the stuff on American movies like to take quotes from famous philosophers. Sigmund Freud, Nietzsche, Mark Twain..etc.

I would have thought you were familar enough with his tactics to try to play his games.

Ah Chia SG

ok. it is unclear to you. whatever.

Why don't you rephrase it in a clearer way?

skythewood SG

Why don't you rephrase it in a clearer way?

because i am lazy to bother with you. you can twist it to fit your use bah. yup, so weird logic it is.

Ah Chia SG

I would have thought you were familar enough with his tactics to try to play his games.

What tactics?

Ah Chia SG

because i am lazy to bother with you.

But others won't be clear of what you are saying.

They might misinterpret it if you make it unclear.

i was bored, so i want to see how far this can go. Maybe if he lived in the time of the philosophers, he will challenge them all day.

"what doesn't kill you makes you stronger? This is not clear. By your logic, If SDP have a sex scandal, it will get stronger? Is SDP strong or weak? This is not clear."
