indicated there were thirty-six wounds on
the pepetrator's body, where does it come from? It cannot b
self-inflicted.

Since i didn't do the autopsy, i can't tell you that YES, the
wounds are self inflicted.
I also did not do the investigations, so i can't tell you YES,
the stab wounds are not deep enough to kill, hence, there must be
someone stabbing him 36 times.
I also don't have info on possible motives, such as hatred,
money, desperation of any possible suspect. so i can't tell you
YES, the prof killed him to get his money/secret project.
but i believed you did the autopsy, since you are very sure that
the wounds cannot be self-inflicted.
