but you MAY get a better education as well. And even if you have
the option to have a good education, a lot of that is credited to
your parents. So please give your parents due credit. And even as
such, it's up to you, Auntie, to do well in your education. So give
yourself due credit as well.
Anyway, the key word is "MAY". Without the PAP, all of us will
become maids and labourers. You actually believe that?

I think the problem here is man ego. The man ego do not wish to
see other higher than you and yet getting much more attention then
you. We ladies dun mind whoever rules as long as he can gives us
education opportunity, foods, a shelter to live in, love, peace,
harmony and most important, a place that can make money.
You a great man too, my Uncle, but just that you cannot win
someone and see in real disgust and anger as the others manipulated
this society which you feel so powerless to intervene.
The word "May" already told you that given an opportunity to
study, the rest is up to one to excel. But the opportunity is there
to be grab. We, the young ones, are not saying that we put our
soul and mind bindly to praise LKY and sing his names as the
North Korea commies do, we praised him base on facts and reality.
Our parents never taught us to kowtow to LKY, they said that we as
a family living in harmony and peacefulness is because of good
governance. And Daddy can study to get a good job, set up business
in a proper and well define system here.
