Let me see, I can envisage the campaign platform for the PAP if
indeed there are to be snap polls, "we are seeking the mandate of
the people to deal with the recession!" or "Don't change horses in
mid-stream?"
Well as for the opposition, especially Dr Chee, he'll probably
go the way of "Where is our 50 billion dollars?"
I'm a non-partisan, I just love watching fireworks, and observe
all fun & games attached to every election. At the end of it,
it'll usually bring about the same dramatics - A overwhelming PAP
majority, Hougang the sole bastion of opposition representation, a
few more bankrupts, a few more trips to the police station.
