China's yearly engineering patents already matching USA's + largest owner of US treasuries + much cheaper labour + auto market (10% of population) already larger than USA's (almost 100% saturated) + ... + ... War is to be avoided since China has the scientific technology enough to shoot down satelites, then the only other option is to cooperate with China. Thats why human rights and democracy are not even on the agenda.
