Dear readers,
As some of you may already know, Mediacorp made a Freudian
slip yesterday by showing a page with the title - “General
Elections 2009″, while the content still remains on 2006
election. (The page has since been removed).
We reckon that there is a likelihood that the elections will be
held during the March or June holidays.
The Wayang Party Club will be setting up a special General
Elections blog to house all articles, podcasts and video recordings
of opposition rallies.
Our aim is only ONE: to help the opposition, regardless
of which party, to gun down a GRC. Therefore we will be
hedging our bets on the “A” team.
We will pour
in all our resources to flood the GRC with flyers and VCDs everyday
from nomination day onwards to counter the mainstream media
propaganda.
Do not worry about the cost for we have more than enough money
to fund the entire campaign on our own without the need to solicit
for external contributions.
To enable us to maximize our impact, we seriously need the
following manpower:
1. Video personnel with their own camrecorders and video
editors to record the rally speeches and upload to youtube on the
spot.
2. Photographers.
3. Writers.
4. Volunteers on the ground to distribute flyers and VCDs.
We cannot
afford to wait till the date of election is announced to
start the preparations for it will be too late by then.
Our only hope lies in prising one GRC away from the
PAP.
Once a GRC
falls, more Singaporeans will be willing to join the opposition to
create a domino effect to topple their despotic rule
eventually.
Our dear
comrades, let us not wait for another 5 years to teach these
suckers a lesson.
Let’s do it
RIGHT NOW !
Please email us at [email protected] if you are keen to join our
team of citizen journalists and grassroots volunteers for the
coming general election.
