So you are saying its better to bump our old generation into
some halfway home over the water just because the way of life here
is getting expensive and hectic?
I see irony of it: The post-war generation sweat like fuck to
create Singapore as it is and when they get old, we deny them the
right to grow old and die in the place they create from nothing. So
when they die, we bury/cremate them overseas cause its cheaper?
Fecking PAP leaders have lost their moral compass. To them
everything is money. WTF we have so much sovereign wealth funds and
reserves if we are not gonna spend a little bit? Wait till
Armageddon to pass out caviar and Cuban cigars to all of us to
celebrate? Or line their own pockets with ill-gotten gains?
Who's saying they will be buried on foriegn soil??? Who's saying
they are bumped or forced to go stay on foriegn soil??? Where is
the law that states that ALL old folks get lost and not wanted?
Aren't you and the minority vengeful vocal group here and
elsewhere politically aggravating over nothing, using old
folks to venge your political frustrations, instead of seeking
a meaningful discussion that will benefit our aged?
Have it you and your kind's way. I'm outta here. I rather serve
the people than be a pawn in someone's political ploy. Whomever
