What do we call the poor in Singapore? According to websites
there are no poor people in Singapore since we all live above the
poverty line. But as evident, there are those who are in dire
straits struggling to survive. I find it absurd that most try to
cover up this issue.
Does anyone have any idea what the profile of the poor in
Singapore is? Elderly, unemployed? One room flats? Is there a
database that the Government puts in place to ensure that
everyone's needs are met?
