Honda City Dsi vs Mit. Lancer

Will be getting either one of the car, but is in 2 mind about which one to get. Any bros got recommendation ? Which of the 2 car is value for money and FC and resale value ?

i considering city and vios.

tt time was considering lancer too, but it was too ex. hm.. now tt price of city and lancer the same.. yah..mabbe i can start considering lancer again.

eh… but heard fr alot of ppl…lancer bo-lat leh… i think Honda City vtec can easily win them… IMHO….

i find that VIOS very crampy.. tried out CITY...very spacious... back seat somemore can fold up or down fully... v spacious..

have tried the 7-speed techniology... damn shiok... .. really can cheong very fast from start... cant imagine incorporatewith vtec engine...

Lancer uses the Continuos Variable Trans (CVT)... That effectively means that its actually using one gear to propel its chasis as compared to other cars like Toyota which has four distinct gears for power at low and speed at high... Good thing about CVT is that there's no shift shock... Smooth ride in other words but no power Sad

Does any1 nou bout suspension? Here's wat VIOS, City and Lancer has for their suspension

VIOS
front - McPherson Strut with Stabilizer
rear - Torsion Beam with Stabilizer

City
front - Independent Macpherson Strut with coil spring and stabilizer
rear - H-shape torsion beam

Lancer
front - MacPherson Strut, coil springs with stabiliser bar
rear - Multi-link

Need some guidance on these.

i would feel that the honda city would be a better choice… it saves more fuel (not sure if it is more powerful) but i think it accelerates faster than the mit. lancer… THe only bad thing abt mit. lancer is its reputation… callbacks…..and stalling on the road…... so honda city would be a better buy.. oh forgot to add…. honda city is more spacious and more solid than the mit. lancer

hi!!i just brought my lancer a few weeks ago….basically lancer is quite fuel comsuption…...it can hit 600 km for my full tank….as for hp…...not bad also compare to nissan sunny ex…...btw my lancer is manuel…..i also try city….can said is more powerful…..but fuel comsuption….i think my lancer won by abit…...
