I'm kind of curious where does all the GST goes to.. The government says it went to the needys and how many needys are there in Singapore? Is there any charts and figures to show the total amount of GST collected and redistrubted to these needys? Just curious to find out cause paying quite a bit on GST already.

Do you know what is the meaning of budget?? Why this recession they have to bring forward the budgeting? Cos their previous budget did not take care of the ppl and now cos of this crisis afraid sgrean DOO LAN, then faster make correction.

Where their money for the budget comes from? income tax, cooperate tax, tobacco tax, liquor tax, erp, gst, your every month conveyance fees, utilities fees(with conservancy tax), tv licence, season parking, diesel & petrol tax, road tax, car ARF Tax.. (anyone here can continue??)..

therefore GST not registered

I sell my item S$0.80 to NTUC without GST

you buy the item from NTUC S$1.00 , and you need to pay 7% GST

why not S$0.20 x 7% & is S$1.00 x 7%

NTUC can claim back the $0.80 * 7% from the govt because NTUC has already paid for that GST through my company. Means in the end, the government still collects $1 *7% GST.
