Oh well, do we know whether this WHite House Official is what post? Many Officials you know....and definitely they will be quite happy to come here to run for government job but can they make it? Many times we have read that our system is envied by many others for its efficiency. The US? We have read much of their gossip and unsavoury comments too. He may want the job but he may not be qualified for the job.

Our government has been trained and mentored for their roles. They don't come out of nowhere. Such commitment needs to be rewarded too.

if by efficiency, u mean being paid the least possible for the doing a particular job, then we're probably one of the most efficient 1st world countries. and if u (in general), being at the brunt of it is willing to take that, why should ur employers make it otherwise. u pay peanuts, u get monkeys. this theory applies throughout all the levels of society. it is not to say, that u'll definitely get a good deal if u pay more. but the inverse is definitely true.
