cos thats what the advertisers want them to think... that diamonds are forever... granite stones are also forever...in fact i think that a nicely cut piece of glass looks the same and cost much less....

How many girls can actually tell the quality of a low grade diamond with flaws to a high grade one, not to mention good imitations?

yeah the other day my colleague was telling me about those diamonds with certificates and all... wat cut, clarity, colour, cup size...!!!
