If it is within the 3 cars name above, I would get the Rio, suitable for family car with boot behind.

eerr..wat abt all those sayings that korean cars fc high and engine not reliable?

Lancer947 SG

The technology have improved over the years. The engine should be ok at it has 100k mileage or 3 yrs coverage. The car itself is light and the FC should be maintain normally at around 12km/liter. It really depend on how you drive…

Yup, agree with Lancer.
I drive a 1.3L Hyundai Accent, Fuel Consumption abt 12.3~12.8. Depends on how u drive & where u drive... =)

But on the other hand, I wish I could have wait a bit longer & get either the Liana or Vios then Rolling Eyes . Well......As i need a car urgently to ferry my baby then. So...no choice lah.....as I can get the Accent, 2 weeks after booking. Laughing

trueno86 SG

now confuse... Rolling Eyes ...eyeing on kalisa cos some threads tok abt korean cars fc high...hard to maintain...was looking at rio 1.3 then...cheap...big and good...guess i have to think all over again... Shocked

Jerry2308 SG

but how abt kelisa?

Jerry2308 SG

if a car is priced at abt $55000.And i pay a dwnpayment of abt $2000.How much would i roughly pay per month.Hehe!!
Sorry for so many questions cos this is the first time i buy car. Very Happy

Is Kia better or hyundai better?Any problems so far?

trueno86 SG

kelisa has good fc...abt 15km/l....but it is also small in boot...need to consider if u got children and strollers...maintenance not a problem even after warranty cos of our neighbour across...besides...it is the only car under 50 k for manual...road tax only $500 per year...everything abt it is tempting...except for the ass...i mean boot Mr. Green

trueno86 SG

car price minus your deposit (55k - 2k)...then divide the balance (53k) by 7 for 7 year loan (add 2.2% interest), or 10 year loan(add 2.45% interest)...u will noe each year pay hw much for the car...dun forget to add insurance, road tax, parking, petrol and servicing...brudders...correct me if i am wrong... Wink
