If you want to avoid door dents, don’t park next to any other
vehicles, farthest away from any. Maybe spare one side by looking
for the last space in any row, so one side always spared. Otherwise
always park on the side of the road along the footpath and not in
side by side lots. This will save both sides all the time unless
some idiot bangs their bicycle or watch or diamond ring against
your door! Also avoid parking next to work vehicles like lorries,
delivery vans , station wagons, 4 wheel drives or taxis. These can
cause some really nasty door dents and scratches. Don’t forget also
the very close parking lots in HDB estates
and multi-level carparks and some stupid idiots who cannot stand
admiring your newly bought or often polished, shiny car and are
bent on damaging it in jealousy.
