If Anson case is anything to go by, there is a high chance of
Aljunied GRC disappearing altogether. Then again, this is not a
single seat ward where you can just merge into a bigger entity. The
government will have lots of explanation to do to make a GRC
disappear.
But definitely, they are going to shift the electoral boundaries
and put in more precincts with hard-core PAP supporters and discard
those with lower support.
The bigger issue is not whether the GRC will still be around but
whether the WP can keep up the momentum and turn in a better
performance.
