Oh so it is now 98K. Before the tax announcement it was 111K and
it was like for CNY promo only. Of course, I ignored all these kind
of sales dateline gimmicks. BTW, the 230 is now 107K (down from
112K). Also, managed to squeeze another 1K down from salesperson as
the standard Bridgestone tyres are a real downer.
For all its worth, I did not buy from one of those "teenage"
salespersons in Tan Chong. (Flame me if you want). Their idea of
salesmanship is - please test drive so I can marked you as my
customer. Once marked I understand is that no other salesperson (in
or out of Tan Chong) can sell to you without sharing comms with him
for at least 2 weeks. I ended buying from a dealer of theirs. It
was courage on my part to do that as my impression of cars sales
bosses is that they do not come over as very honest. (anyone feels
the same?).
Anyway, if Cefiro is your choice then you have to think hard on why
5K more for a 230 is not justified (200 is at 102k). For me was
easy as the v6 was real smooth.
Cheers
