Cyclists on the road

Yeah... and we'll see how much "patience" u have when u met some tat thinks they "owns the road" and "paid road tax". I mean, comon!! We drivers paid road tax too!!

Those damn cyclists should be cycling on the predestrian pathments, not the roads!! They r endangering themselves for goodness sake, and the other road users.

And as for give and take, seems tat only the drivers are giving and the cyclists are the ones taking. I feel tat those motorcycle riders r more sensible than those cyclists do.

Once turning from boon lay way(at night) to corperation rd, ALMOST hit a motorised bicycle. Tat "dude" wear all black, no lights no nothing. Can't even notice him. I gave way to him. Tat donkey stared at me then block my way by weaving in and out of both the left and right lane and dun let me pass... WTF!?!? I FEEL LIKE tailing him and hit his rear tyre and let tat donkey kong fall down, then drive beside, wind down my window and mock at him. Angry siah!! I'm not alone tat night, another p-plate driver beside me, we look at one another then shake head. I suggest banning cyclists off the road altogether.

A piece of advise for cyclists "hero wannabes", if u wanna ride on the highway, get a motocycle, else get outta my way and use the damn predestrian pathment. Cos we, the drivers, pay road tax too, so u cyclists ride safely like we do. Wanna do stunt? Go TCS sign up for bicycle stunt double, work there for a month and u can get urself a motocycle and throw away ur bicycle.

Cheerz!! Except for cyclists.

i think they have power ratings. if it's over a certain power rating, they must be treated as motorcycles.

and those 'legal' ones should on be used in private compounds. not in east coast park.. nuisance!

after reading this, i think BOTH of you should be taken off the streets.. kicking and screaming if necessary...

you are both dangers not only to yourselves but to the community of road users at large...

come on lor… i’ve seen these sort of motorized bikes so often. and i don’t think their speed in only 25km/h. fast fast chiong… take up one whole lane summore. not that i sayiong they cant use the roads… but as a cyclist myself i know how to keep to extreme left when cycling, and signal when i turn. the thing is somethings u wanna turn left. den suddenly a bike like that zoom past your left, can you imagine if i didn’t slow down i would hit a bugger like that? or maybe he’ll just bang into me… how ironic…

After your quote, I was beginning to wonder, did u even properly read my post?? I said "FEEL LIKE" doing those bad things, but did I ever did it?? Open ur eyes, dig them out if u have to, to help u see better grandma, grand mama bear in this case.

And I was wondering, do u drive/ride before or have a class 3 or 2 or 2a or 2b in the first place. If u really HAVE a driving/riding license, I'm surprised tat u r actually encouraging pple to cycle on the roads by saying "cyclists have their rights on the roads too", and blind enough to see the dangers those cyclists are exposing themselves to, speeding motorcycles, cars, lorries, tonners.

If u dun have a license, do take up a practical driving/riding course and see wat I mean. I can't explain the experience in words, u have to experience it urself.

If u took offence to tat "grand mama bear(referring to The Bear) got bad eyesight thingy", I'm sorry.

As for the "taken off the road" thingy, please re-consider the situation before saying tat. Thank you.

i have no problems with cyclists.. ever!

i have driven in other countries where there are even more cyclists and never ever had problems there either...

i would say that most of the problems here faced by drivers are due to their own impatience and inability to be tolerant of other road users...

got a question: do you think a motorcyclist should ride in the lane or in between lanes?

And I'm sure most drivers/riders and this humble country knows tat. I think the only one who needs to remember is you, bear. Seems tat u down 1 of them for the count, so how it feels like to have them under ur wheel, still remember??

Wat do u think?? U got ur license in "1989", dun u know the simple answer to it?? Motorcyclist r pple who ride motorcycle, of cos they take the lane. As for "in between lanes", I dunno how u get ur license or wat ur driving instructor taught u, one is not suppose to do tat. I was beginning to wonder, since such a simple question and need a p-plater to answer, did u ever study for ur thoery, and do u apply basic rules on the road?? Or did u break them all the time thinking, "oh, my instructor taught me tat, so it must be right". If so, time for u to take a refreshment course @ any driving center before posting any danger to other drivers/riders/cyclists/predestrian/or any other road users.

i drive and i cycle too.

reckless drivers pose a greater danger to anyone more than a slow-moving bicycle. if a careful driver gives way or slows down to a traveling bicycle, or he filters to another lane in time, there's not problem for both parties. it only takes a little bit of consideration for each other to make the road a safer place.

most cyclists do their part by keeping to the side of the road. those that travel in the middle of the lane or cycle against the flow oof traffic are but a few. they actually pose a greater danger to pedestrians if they were to go on the pavement. a fast-moving bicycle crashing into a pedestrian can cause serious injuries.. it's even worse if the pedestrian is elderly or pregnant..

those with license learnt this in driving schools.. even if you have the right of way, you still do not assume that others will give way to you.. so drive safely, drive carefully..

I tried one which can on par with my car normal 70km/h speed. hahaha my dad was driving then he asked me try how fast can i go. so i took my fren's so called "R-1" hahaha and try... fast...but i advised....wear a helmet...at that speed if u fall down...ur brain can still burst out. Still i hate those who treat it like a motorbike...using full lanes...haiz...almost bang them the other day...lucky i was alert enuff...
