and hence committed tax evasion, then you do not know what is tax

No, but giving a look is "vague" and shouldn't be classified as
a good example of being rude.

Well, if I used a lousy standard of English in a report or an
email that he has seen and received and sent to someone outside the
company (without even informing him beforehand, but
informing only after the act has been done, thus resulting in an
inaccurate transfer of information), and that I make
mistakes like calling tax avoidance as tax evasion, he's has all
the right to do so.
Now, don't you think the sentence in bold perfectly reflects a
rude action?
