Anwar to be investigated on sex charges

last SG · 2008-07-01T10:35:01+00:00

sex scandal is always a good bet to get rid of one’s political rivals.why be bothered with some one’s sexual orientation if he is a good and honest politicia...

both equally bad, but if sodomy, ppl in the streets will look at them differently.

I think they both got sodomised politically also and people do look at them in a different way

It seems very easy for a ruling party to get rid of an opponent. They are the script writer, movie director, police, judge, anti-corruption authority. Even if the opponent has strong support from the people, there is still a way to get rid of him.
Umno is very rich, they can pay 1 million to a person to be a spy, then lodge a police report, then ask the judge to jail the person. finish.
That's why now the PKR has Wan Azizah as leader, coz no one can accuse her involving in sodomy. Really an advantage.

A 60 yr old man how to sodomise a 23 yr young man, unless he is a willing party.

As compared with Mahathir Anwar clearly is more approachable to all races and all ordinary people.

He has less self-importance and obsessions and is open to working with other races like the Chinese and non-Malay.

A new multi-racial leader is needed at this time to unite the whole country the real secret of success in any age.

He would make a better leader as his disposition is more cosmopolitan and less of the ultra type of Malay who would brandish the threatening kris or religion in party meeting to intimidate other races.

Does MY ever hear about Gay Pride Day? I just think that it is only a matter of time when G & L have its political space. Anwar or no Anwar.

would it be fair to say that is before any political leader get elected they are everybodies leaders.

This game sounds interesting, I wonder why no company develop a game of politics.
Imagine there is a football match among them, the result will be
Anwar : Mahathir : Abdullah : Datuk Sri C4
3.5 : 0 : 1 : 1

Anwar
2 goals for uniting the oppositions to overturn BN 2/3 majority
1.5 goal to dig out the news of mongolian model and corruption case that involve Datuk Sri C4. (Not 2 goals because C4 has destroyed most evidence)

Mahathir
1 goal for attacking Abdullah and gain some support from Umno members. Now C4 and Muhuddin is at his side. He also tried his best to attacked Anwar, but failed.
2 yellow cards for his wrongdoings to sack the judge and intefering the judicial system, nepotism, corruption.
1 yellow card issued by himself to quit Umno.

Abdullah
2 yellow cards for failure to defend the 2/3 majority in election.
1 yellow card for failure to fix the problems left by Mahathir.
1 goal for his soft spoken and nice man style.

C4
1.5 yellow cards for involving in the mongolian model murder case and various corruption cases.
1 goal for reaching an agreement with Abdullah to announce the handover of power.

I don't want to further complicate this game, so for now, this match only involve 4 party.

DisplayName, I agree! As I found it so interesting that with all this hullabaloo about Badawi’s ineptness, Anwar’s alleged sodomy, Malaysians have forgotten about Dr M and the judge scandal! So who is really committing political sodomy here!

robertteh SG

A very fair assessment of quality of these leaders.

ohoj SG

In a recent poll, more than 90% of Malaysians do not think Anwar is guilty of the charge.

For those of you who did not know about the 1998 sodomy conspiracy here's a video to refresh your memory

Well....I believe it is quite sad.

There is a possibility he is framed, but I am not sure 100%.

But one thing......I have a big question mark on Abdullah Badawi....

Previously I respected him...he seems like a calm man....wise....and less prone to make sensationalist comments....he looks like a good leader....

After this episode, I have a big question mark, especially since he made comments about leaving the matter to the police, etc. One of them is lying, either Anwar is lying or Abdullah is lying. But if Abdullah is lying and is in the know, I must say I am quite shocked.

a simple but stark difference between malaysia and singapore politics:

keadilan and anwar can secure the Stadium Malawati Shah Alam at short notice to put their point across to its supporters even in non-election period.

Abdullah surely knows Anwar has been framed the same way justices were kicked like footballs. Nevertheless he must play his trump card to win. This latest is a trump card because in a way it will cushion against further attack from Mahathir while it will serve to fend off Anwar.

There are claims that DPM Najib is into anal too. This is probably a big help to Anwar.

I am inclined to believe that Anwar is innocent but Najib is guilty.

In the statutory declaration, private investigator Balasubramaniam said he was told by Abdul Razak on Najib's links with Altantuya. These include:
