Apparently alot of people have shallow definition of heroes. In life itself, there is always alot of titles/positions/ranks, and they all have an invisible title before them. The invisible title is smart or dumb.

You can be in any trade, any relationship, any status, whatever...but it's up to you to decide if you want to be a smart one or a dumb one. Even Heroes also have smart and dumb Heroes. Smart Heroes lived long enough to see themselves honoured in the histories, and dumb Heroes don't even get mentioned much cos they died stupidly.

I can see there are alot of Zhao Yun wannabes here, but they don't realised they are just the Yan Liang and Wen Chou in this 21st century.

Funny thing about Singaporeans nowadays is, they tend to get overly arrogant when they have been educated, fed, enjoyed their lifestyle, then it suddenly occurred to them that they must be more assertive of their rights and start pointing fingers at people who made it possible for them to be even arrogant in the first place.

If not for Lee Kuan Yew's planning for Singapore's future, do you think you can even enjoy NEWater? I think everyone would be drinking longkang's water like rum and celebrating Malaysia's national day instead of Singapore's national day.

Our police would still be wearing shorts, and our sisters would be married to a muslim man as his concubine, and guys would be forced to strap onto public-made bombs (worse than home-made bombs) and be a human firecracker for our national service shouting "Jihad".

It's not like the people migrating out are refugees of any kind. They are well educated, worldwise and can pretty much prosper in any corner of the world.

It is my belief that Lee Kuan Yew's authoritarian rule and education policies killed off chinese business dynamism in Singapore.

So, from this point of view, we can say that Lee Kuan Yew crippled off the economic power, morale and mentality in Singapore.

Ya...fuckers.....sometimes people just need to get their argument right. You won't be replaced by FTs if you haven't been slacking off in your studies right? Well, if you didn't study hard enough during your studying days, shouldn't you make way for FTs who couldn't afford to have fun like you and have to study harder than you when they were a student just like you?

Are you upset because PAP deprived you of learning an additional language?

Cos if Singapore didn't have Lee Kuan Yew, you could be learning Bahasa Melayu as your first language other than your native tongue(mandarin), and elective language(english).

Well, you're in luck cos do you know you can still go ahead and learn your Bahasa Melayu. You just need to pay for it but you can learn it at your own pace.
