Wow, the fuel consumption of the Hyundai really that bad? To me
its a totally unacceptable figure. That's abt 8km-9km plus per
litre, which is very bad.
Are you a heavy footer? There's really a different in driving in
city and highway, so maybe this play a part.
If it's really the engine fault, I don't think there's much you can
do abt it, but I will suggest you bring it down to Komoco Motors to
complaint abt it, and see what they says.
There are some after market products which when fits reduces petrol
consumtion as well, but to what extend tehy work i can't really
says cos I never fitted with one before, though their advertisment
look impressive. Maybe you can try that out.
In fact last yr i think, there was this forum guy who complainted
that his 1.6l Kia Spectra only travels 6km/l ! Maybe that's what
happen to one in every few korean made cars. That's something to
take note really. My friend 1.6 Nissan Sunny auto is abt 10km/l
flat and its already consider very bad, fyi.
