aiya i believe there’ll be a clearer definition to this regulation. surely we can use one hand for a split second to meddle with the radio or change gear rig...

Hi, was listening to the radio this morning and heard about this. I personally think that yes it would be safer to drive with both hands. But i also feel that when it comes to driving, every drivers have thier own comforts, like some pple like to drive with one hand on the steering wheel and the other holding the gear.

what do you guys think bout this.

ahakz.. luckily theres no problems with me.. im a habit of 2 hands on the steering… but dun worry.. how would they know if u drive 1 hand 2hands 3 hands?? trust me.. they dont even knoe.. even if ur girlfren holding ur gear.. they still don’t knoe.. LOL!!.. unless singapore says.. they have to install a civilian camera on every singapore car.. ahaa then i could consider.

gawd, u can't even be seen using one hand to fiddle with the player or any vehicle interface whilst the car is in motion (ie: cannot adjust aircon, cannot change from class 95 to yes 933 etc). it's like, you can't even reach out to smack a mosquito biting you. Shocked

i feel sorry for those drivers with an insatiable need to be in constant contact with their female companions whilst driving. that could land you in lotsa trouble with the tps. Wink

Of coz, drive with 2 hands got more control. Thats why the law on using cellphones with one hand. Unless you’re driving the Merc S600, you can be the backseat driver. Makes you wonder if humans are obselete these days.

hmm... i think the government is getting crazy for implementing such a rule...
i dun believe goh chok tong wont scratch his hands/head/anywhere when it's itchy. (provided that he drives his own car n dun get chauffeured around)

i also like to drive with 1 hand.

they dont allow using of hp when driving cos u will get distracted mah. not becos of 1 hand driving.
