the IR sands at marinabay is really a total new concept in
SG.
It is a real big project. In year 2006, press releases and
authorities are working very fast to get everything started.
As the years tick by, and the days fly by, whenever I drive past
ECP, the works for the IR seems to be always at the same stage. ie.
dozens and dozens of cranes and flat ground. it seems that progress
has either decreased exponentially or even halted for some period
of time?
Pardon me if I am incorrect about this, as I am not in any form
of management or construction company or vendor that deals with the
IR sands.
But, my concern will be if the IR can really open its doors in
2009?
Past reports and press releases has said of mass recruitment for
big groups of ground level/front line staff for the hotels,
resorts, team parks, casino, which encompasses a range of job
offers from hotel service staff all the way to a casino job.
Surely there's a great need for lots of staff. 70% are to be
singaporeans.
Has there really been an actual mass recruitment drive going on
for the IR sands?
I may have missed it or not noticed, does the majority of jobs
offer has already been posted out and taken by all of us
Singaporeans?
or are we all still Waiting for that time (the mass employment)
to come in?
Hope those reading who has more information on employment and
Whether the IR is really able to offer the jobs as promised and
open its doors in 2009 as promised??
thanks for sharing :)
for a better employment future for all of us
