Hello guys!! I was going to get a paravan too, I keeping calling
them mini-vans... ha ha!! So, the correct term is
"para-vans"...good learn new things.
My dad and I saw this paravan from opel a week ago, its the opel
combo. Comparing specs on paper, the combo seem to have better
specs than kangoo.
combo vs kangoo
1.7 Diesel Turbo(16v) vs 1.9 Diesel NA(?v)
75hp vs 65hp
165 torque vs 120 torque
for 100km(combined), 5.8 litres vs 6.8 litres
fuel tank, 52 litres vs 50 litres
The interior is somwhat the same between the two, haven't test
drive 1 yet, but planning to do so within this week or next.
So any comments guys? Heard from a friend saying Opel got
overheating problems in the past. Hope they fixed it.
If I'm not wrong, are Paravans' drivetrain FF(front engine, front
wheel drive)??
Also, from the news, the gov is changing the emission standard from
Euro 2 to Euro 4 in 2006 Oct, is it worth it to buy a brand new
paravan now? Cos within 2 years, most of the diesel vehicles are
going to fail the inpections...This makes me very worried and
somehow foils the plan of buying a paravan.
