I think CNA may want to avoid touching on or meddling with
neighbouring Asian nations since MediaCorp is state-owned. That's
why there is not much of TV debate like we see on most news
networks. But CNA does sometimes produce analytical scoops on
important events like China's economy, Thailand politics or
Taiwan's election. But it's okay since I also watch Al Jazeera,
which is on the same satelite, CCTV-4 & 9, BBC, Phoenix (Feng
Huang Zixuntai), and Australia Network to balance my view.
