Singapore Government Opinion Poll

sir_peanuts SG

Do you realise that the Singapore media has never, never, never had an opinion poll for the Singapore government? And the government will probably respond by saying the election results is the mandate.

So let's do our own, here. Results will be collated one month later, on 20 Apr.

The question is: Do you support the Singapore government?

Instructions: NO COMMENTS PLEASE. JUST "yes" or "no". One man one vote.

sir_peanuts SG

yes

kramnave SG

I think its really spastic to put a yes or no answer. As much as the ruling party has been decent in delivering the goods, they have areas to improve as well.

Ermm...

are you guys talking about TRANSPARENCY ?

wow, we are so so transparent siah.

u know, I know.

agree that a yes / no is too simplistic for an answer.

and lets not overlook the marvelous effect of the ERP.

So great , more are planted and will be planted.

congratulations. better sgpore.

u cannot not belief me right?

hloc SG

Yes.... in some Area....

No.... in some Area....

How the Hell could there be just a Yes or No answer......

This is very strange indeed.

I think PAP regime also is aware that there are many who despise them.

No balls to have an opinion poll.

All tell PAP to fuck off.

Pathetic.

eagle SG

If they really do an opinion poll, there will be people who condemn them too. They might as well have a by-election, just like what GCT did.

Yes provided they reduce their salaries by 45%, if not my vote will go to the oppositions for the rest of GE 2011, 2016, 2020, 2025, 2030, 2035, 2040, 2045.......

Sadly.... that would only come true if you "AREA" got the chance to 'Vote' at all......

I'm hoping for WP to come contest my GRC one day.

Poh Ah Pak SG

I hope WP can take over my Jurong GRC in next general elections.

sir_peanuts SG

i provided yes and no options only... because that's the way an opinion poll is done.

and during elctions you can only vote PAP and opposition, no such thing as support PAP but don't like ERP.

No such thing as support PAP but don't like ERP ? If that's the case i think Sembawang or any other wards contested by opposition will have fallen already. Sorry to say but i don't think people cast their vote because they "don't like ERP".

That's whats wrong with opinion polls too. They give you little choices and rarely does it reflect your opinion.

well then isn't that the problem of democracy? they give you limited choices and extreme votes, yes or no, but don't allow you to reflect your opinion for the next five years, till the next general elections...

Poh Ah Pak SG

well then isn't that the problem of democracy?

That is the problem of our Singapore "democracy". lol

kramnave SG

Well, that is a problem..do you know of a country where every citizen is happy with the government ? Ultimately there will be disgruntled people and on the extreme end, people who have fish bones stuck at the back of their throats till they gleefully see the death of somebody.

Poh Ah Pak SG

Well, that is a problem..do you know of a country where every citizen is happy with the government ?

So are you happy?

I do have my grouses but not bad enough to cast a vote for Chee Soon Juan. You can say that I'm happy.

Poh Ah Pak SG

No wonder you keep on defending PAP regime.
