Another Singaporean J.I. hit the slammer

Another Singaporean has been thrown into the slammer under the ISA.

This time he is a 27 year old, discovered in February 2008 to be a JI member, and was identified by the Al Qaeda 'management' to be a potential leader to form another secret cell in Singapore.

He has been to a madrasah in Kandahar - supposedly for religious training, and has received secret training in weapons handling, intelligence gathering, and guerilla warfare - with the ultimate reglious bonus of meeting the ''Islamic Godfather'' Osama bin Laden.

Has the Singapore message lost its flavor with a section of the multi-ethnic community in Singapore - that a young man will foresake the opportunity to be a member of the 21st Century, but will prefer to create an Islamic caliphate based on the 16th Cenury ?

I think he is disgusted with Singapore pro-USA policy.

He sees USA spreading lies, propaganda, invading other people's country and killing and torturing while Singapore turn a blind eye and support.

No choice, this is Singapore, not Malaysia.

Do you not see the difference between CSJ arrest and the arrest of this J.I. guy {or any other J.I guys} ?

CSJ is on a one-man campaign to change a monopolistic political system based on the PAP scheme from the Power-of-ONE

The J.I. Group is on a campaign to implement an Islamic State based on a mirror image of the Taliban style of Government at the extreme, or according to the Malaysian PAS style of Government at the mildest - with no freedom to anyone to practise any other form of religion, philosophies, idealogies, nor even the simplest form of enjoyment.

The Talibans supported by Osama bin Laden do not even allow music, dancing, arts, sports, nor simple hobbies such as kite flying.

Do we need to give any vocal support to any fool who is stupid enough to believe that it is for anyone's benefit to push us back into a 16th Century Islamic State ?

Surely, you do not believe that CSJ's persistence - in clamouring more political space for Singaporeans - is pushing us backward into such a 16 Century state of affairs ?
