more money yes, at the expense of our own citizens, but is that
all that matters, money?
Imagine ten years from now a university or a casino build at
marina bay, you imagine the 2 different scenarios what will
Singapore be like? if sing became an education hub, or gambling
hub. which place you prefer your child to live in?
I dunno abt the policies maker, but it strikes me as what they
are doing with the casinos is very near sighted. Opening more
universities may be more profitable in the long run, who knows we
may have a nobel laureat. Yeah but come to think of it, its kinda
hard too, with discouragement of
freedom of thoughts in singapore, i doubt we might have a nobel
laureat anytime soon....
this doesnt affect money minded Foreign students. They just come
to get a cert to go to greener pastures...But a educational hub can
be started at tekong itself , think abt it..it will offer a safe
haven for international students..
