Why has it come down to a personal attack? Sorry I have never
watched that show before & find it childish. When comparing I
am referring to cc to cc. I am comparing Ferrari to Honda super car
like NSX.
Armature will discount the theory of "man & machine" as they
don't have that experience since they have not experience any
racing circuit. ie. Simpang or Pasir Gudang Racing circuit. Car
park racing.
Some factors to determined btn a winner & loser is the machine.
Another factor if both are having same machine, then it will all
boils down to the skill with experience drivers to evolve into man
& machine. Going at the speed, you only have fraction of a
seconds to think, react & make corrects. (i.e pressure on
brake, gear shift at right rpm & etc)
Again running on a straight line does not take much skill but just
mechanical challenge. A dragster will do the job. Good skill will
be tested when a circuit has straights, bends &
cornering.
I have gone to the Simpang when they PML organised a tour BMers
& some Lexus joined. If you have been there, you will
understand what is meant by refinement, holding & performance.
The Lexus was way out of it league....
If true you understand history of the evolution of motor engine,
variable value timing or commonly kind as VTEC in Honda or VVT
Toyota is an old technology. The 1st variable value timing already
existed in the 70's model of an Italian car....if you can guess the
brand.
Yes, I own not a Ferrari but I frenz who own & have driven a
few time (not on Singapore road). Least I have a M5 to be contented
with.
Sorry I forget that skill is not require for car max speed is below
200km/hr.
