SM Goh said budget not concerned with social issues

For years government keep taxing people and withholding or underspending on taxes to hoard monies for their own surpluses in order to have monies to pay for their million-dollar salaries and bonuses as Durai has done in NKF.

In order to hoard monies government causes costs of living to go up year after year and the economy to go down.

So much so that today we have a hollow economy which looks good for a few years when world economy and property market recovers without bringing benefits to the ordinary people except for the governing elites the rich and the foreigners.

Now when caught in an compromising position like telling lies about the budget deficit our great leaders simply tell some more stories to cover up all their own backside.

It is such a shame to hear our eminent GCT when caught in compromising position like shielding of NKF wrong doing to give some more peanut excuses.

Is he thinking so lowly of the people that he has to insult them of their basic intelligence with pulling some more wools over the people's eyes.

If budget is really intended to be forward looking like he has been trying to tell people to cover up past problems how is it that truths cannot be told of the huge S$6 billion hidden surpluses from land sales for better forward looking decisions?

Is he growing senile also and cannot tell the difference of hiding of such huge S$6 billion surplus which may be in fact amount to deception or dishonesty in order to increase the GST for government own purpose of hoarding surpluses and his so-called forward planning?

If it is for forward planning why cannot he let the S$6 billions hidden profits be told truthfully at the same time as he presented the proposal to increase GST ?

Did he not read the many feedbacks on such hidden surpluses from land sales and other profiteering land sales going on for so many years causing already big suffering to the people? Back to top

it is fantastic that the govt came out with ideas like..when there is a "deficit", let's take it from the ppl and come out with crap ideas like helping the poor but when it real thing happen, let's just take from the CPF kitty and help the age....

the nerve of them. to date, they can't even give a decent statistics of the againg population and they want longevity annulites,,,,
