Poolman SG Vote for them lor .... good garmen ma , reliable garmen ma ...... knn when u voted for them , it's like telling the vampire : "Please suck my blood ! " Looking for trouble only , to vote for the logo of thunder adminstrator ~!
Saltiga SG what a dumbas$ comments.. if Toa Payoh residents will be affected if gantries are located at the exit then why the hell wouldn't it affect the same group of ppl entering? maybe he should rephased it as, "if gantries were at exit points, only Toa Payoh residents would have to pay for the taxes hence making this not as profitable as we would have liked..
CoolMyth SG Next time you walk out of your HDB flat will have ERP already... Cause population too high and dense, that's why need ERP to control human traffic.
extrinsic SG kudos to the 66.6%! without you guys, nothing is possible! higher erp, higher tax, higher cost of living, higher cost hdb lower citizen employment, lower pay without you guys, i really have nothing to complain, tks mates. (66.6%)
BillyBong SG This is nothing new. Soon every part of Singapore will be ERP-gantried simply because it has a high volume of traffic. This in turn will force motorists to take alternative routes, which in turn causes these new alternate routes to become ERP-gantried, which in turn creates the domino effect of still more gantries.... Maybe one day the LTA will incorporate GPS for motorists - the moment you start your vehicle, you are charged. When you move your vehicle, you're charged again.....and so on.... Whoohoo! ERP nation! Another case study for our uniquely Singapore...
fudgester SG Raymond Lim has said that ERP helps Singaporeans to own cars. http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=287417 So by this tack.... with more gantries, it will be easier to own cars.
happieman SG This forum was to create to allow ppl to release their frustration .. that 's it!! Nothiing will change !! I believe many like me want to force the govt to change their attitude in deciding their plan without considering the ppl's opinions first !! Any comments on this ?? (No point just complaining .. we need to force them to change !!)
happieman SG 2 Things derived:- 1. TPY is getting a lousier place to stay... the valuation will drop 2. Don't complain.. this intention behind this forum is to allow you guys to throw your temper .. and that's it!! Nothing will change !! We must group togehter and force the decision maker to be careful in their decision making !!
DayDreamer.SG SG expected. When they increase the ERP charges last yr, alr expect they build more gantries.
Blurified SG ayah... its a vicious cycle lah... put erp on route A, some of the affected the traffic divert and ply route B... Route B jam... plant a gantry there and some traffic ply route C... go on like this then pratically every major rd will have at least 1 gantry... to side track... no one have ideas to fool the ERP Gantry arh...
DayDreamer.SG SG I predict when Sg population goes up in 1k yrs time.. and no more land to reclaim.. everyone will haf a micro chip IU unit install in us.
DayDreamer.SG SG Remember they increase ERP and install a new gantry at CTE to ease jam so motorist will take alternative routes? Hopefully i dun see gantries at AMK or Thomson area cuz thats one ALTERNATIVE route to Yishun and up..
Ah Gong SG Natural selection in progress those who have cars now but can no longer afford all the fuel increase and ERPs can be eliminated. then those who are still driving will be the rich and powerful. so less jam for the rich
HyperFocal SG ... eventually, these gantries will branch out all the way to Jurong as well... ... and probably right into Tuas... ... and this is a Sure Win bet...
Ritz79 SG Hmm i think its not to discourage. Read somewhere that govt wan to make cars affordable, but to maintain is another thing. Correct if if im wrong, someone..
