LKY sensationalised that female Singaporeans will have to work in
other countries as maids...
Like the day you got straight As in your O level, your teacher
tells you, "if you didn't come to this school, you would have
failed your O level." This isn't much of a threat to me.
Our parents had their choice but voted in the PAP. If PAP
didn't win, Singapore would be different today but definitely not
under water. LKY would probably be just another lawyer in
town.
Our parents left China with little or no money, they were not
maids in China, they didn't come to SEA to become maids, and they
never will be maids, whether the country is ruled by the PAP or
Suharto or Mahathir.
We don't have post PAP era in Singapore yet, but there is post
Marcos era in the Phil, post Mahathir era in Malaysia, post Suharto
era in Indonesia...what difference do we see? it is not who rule
the country, it is who are the hardworking ones.
LKY used to advocate, or incline to approve polygamy in
Singapore If Singaporean women did not have more babies to halt the
decline in birth rate. I really don't think any woman
actually quickly give birth before her husband is legally
allowed to have another woman.
I don't understand why there are people catching cold
when the old man sneezes.
