Are you sure merging Malaysia and Singapore is a good idea?
Please take a look at Sabah and Sarawak before considering the merger.
Majority of income generated by Sabah and Sarawak used to develop KL and surrounding areas.
If Malaysia did not kick Singapore out of the federation during Singapore's early years, Sinagpore would still be kampongs like most of Sabah/Sarawak.
