Personally I’ll think a merger is great because geographically Malaysia & Singapore should be together as 1 country but politically Malaysia will never never or ever wants to have a merger with Singapore because the union will upset the current status quo of the ruling party.

with singapore getting infested with so many foreigners (expariates or labourers) and the singapore government not doing much to protect her own citizens, i believe more and more singaporeans will not mind rejoining malaysia.
