Catknight SG I think this new german Pope who lived through the horrors of nazi regime will be a strong leader for the vatican…he speaks about lots of issues from terrorism to poverty..dun play play with this old man hor!!He knows about the evils of our world and not afraid to speak his mind!!
Catknight SG "The State which would provide everything, absorbing everything into itself, would ultimately become a mere bureaucracy incapable of guaranteeing the very thing which the suffering person--every person--needs: namely, loving personal concern." - Pope Benedict XVI
phil30k SG That sounds like a prepared speech. There's no ring of honesty. Maybe because it wasn't originally in English? (my own version) "You give to the State believing that a bureaucracy can guarantee your happiness. But what we need, what everyperson needs, is not something a bureacracy can give us. We need love, we need to know someone cares for us, we need to know there are people who will hold on to us when we reach out to them. A bureacracy cannot give you that."
allentyb_v2.01 SG Your horrible english, really irks me out, why don't you just stick with simple topic to discuss instead of, trying to attempt something that you don't even understand, you are making a mockery out of yourself. Please for the last time, stop trying to create thread that you don't even understand.
